"The How Money Works Financial Education Class" equips teens and young adults, ages 16 - 19 with the knowledge and skills needed to build good financial habits, and prepare for their future. The class covers topics in a way that is engaging and easy for teenagers to understand.
This class was specifically designed for teenagers by self-made millionaires and is changing the game for young people everywhere. This isn’t your average ‘boring’ money talk. We’re talking real, hands-on strategies for handling money with confidence! The class teaches students about the mindset and the skills needed for success.
The class includes:
• Introduction to entrepreneurship
• Understanding how to effectively earn, manage, and invest money.
• Apprehending how insurance works, including types of insurance, insurance pools, premiums, and deductibles.
• Learning how your credit scores and credit reports affect where you live, get hired, and is a major factor in your ability to purchase items.
• Recognizing different types of debt and several enemies to wealth.
• Knowing financial principles like compound interest, rate-of-return, the 3 categories of money, and the time value of money.
We believe that teaching these skills now will set teens and young adults up for success later in life, especially when they start making their own financial decisions. It is a great way for them to gain practical knowledge that will benefit them whether they're getting a part-time job, heading to college, or just navigating everyday spending.
*The class is only $39 Per Teen. (Teens and Young Adults ages 16 - 19)
**The How Money Works Guardian Program Attend the session WITH the Teen = $20 Per Guardian (20+ years of age) This session will be a valuable experience for both you and your teen. Plus, it's a great way to bond over important life skills.
This is a LIVE in-person class. It is NOT a recorded class or pre-recorded video lecture.
*The completion rate for online recorded courses is typically only between 5% - 15%.
The real-time session allows the student to interact with the instructor and get immediate feedback.
Online classes can be conducted for 5 enrollees or less including guardians.
A Playbook with information taught in the class will be provided to each student after the completed session.
